About Shaynna
Shaynna Blaze is an award-winning Interior Designer, best known for her role on The Block and Selling Houses Australia. With an undeniable eye for style, Shaynna has created stunning interiors in residential homes and commercial spaces for more than twenty years.
Shaynna has done it all in her broad-ranging career. She is a successful product designer with a her own range of homewares, furniture, artworks, lights, and candles, is a former jazz singer, and even performed at Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight concert in 2014.
Shaynna’s talents were first brought to a broad audience in 2008, through her role as interior designer and co-presenter on the LifeStyle Channel’s award-winning show, Selling Houses Australia, which is now into its 10thseries. It is a role that has won her many fans, beating stiff competition to take the subscriber-voted category of Favourite Female Personality at the ASTRA Awards in 2013 and 2014.
In 2012, Shaynna joined the team of design experts as a Judge on the Nine Network’s award-winning reality show The Block, now in its twelfth series!
As one of Australia’s best loved design luminaires, Shaynna has collaborated with a number of well-known Australian brands, including her beautifully versatile new range of homewares, exclusively for Harris Scarfe, a collection of art works with Urban Road, a rug range with The Rug Collection, furniture range with Molmic, and a lighting range with One World, the subject of which formed the Foxtel two-part special, Shaynna’s World of Design, a journey to the hottest design spots on the planet, as Shaynna hunts down ideas to create her own unique lighting range.
Shaynna is the author of Design Your Home, and Design with Colour and Style, and is currently the Colour Creative Director and Ambassador for Taubmans paint.
