The Greensborough Town Centre is well catered for by local transport. The Greensborough railway station is close to shops and businesses. It offers regular services between the City, Eltham and Hurstbridge. The Greensborough station has serviced the area since 1902.

The Greensborough Town Centre also has over 12 bus routes including the new SmartBus linking Greensborough to southern and north-western suburbs of Melbourne. Bicycles are also welcome.

Greensborough has easy access to the East (Eastern Freeway), to the West (Western Ring Road) then Princess Freeway or to the very North (Hume Highway) and only 20 mins drive to the airport! The Western Ring Road terminates in Greensborough at the Greensborough Bypass. Greensborough is situated in a perfect area to travel to Melbourne Airport, Geelong and various other suburban and farther away destinations.

Taxis are easily located on Main Street outside the front entrance to the Greensborough Plaza.
